| Man of Mystery is a contemporary
musical presentation by the singers and musicians of Buckhurst Hill Baptist
Church. Written by Jeff Needham, a member of the church, it explores
the revelation of God's mystery through the man Jesus Christ by means of
song and Bible narrations.
Covering a wide range of musical styles from choral to rock, jazz to folk, and ballads to reggae, its aim is to present the Christian message to as wide an audience as possible in an informal but challenging format. The participants, consisting of a thirty strong choir led by conductor Marjorie Wortley, and six accompanying musicians, perfomed the musical in Buckhurst Hill Baptist Church at Easter, 2000. The performances were recorded and recordings are now available as CDs and Tapes. |
